11th Annual Yard Sale, June 26, 27 & 28
Think Green!!! Time to gather all those items you no longer want or need and plan to join us and have a yard sale at your home. Your unwanted items can be the treasure that someone else is looking for. We do the advertising in newspapers, on TV and radio and with large signs on major corners in the neighborhood. We supply you with signs and balloons to mark where your sale is located. Just complete the registration coupon below and include the $7 fee (make checks payable to Concordia Neighborhood Association)

Neighborhood Meetings and Inclement Weather
CNA has a number of regular meetings through out the month – general meeting on the 1st Tuesday, Board meeting on the 2nd Tuesday, and various committee meetings. ALL CNA meeting are open to the public – unless the Board is in executive session, which is exceedingly rare.
As we enter the inclement weather season, we will do our very best to have regular meetings as scheduled. However, if the schools are closed – the neighborhood association is closed (we aren’t the post office and we don’t want to be – call us wimps if you want to…).
So, if there is a meeting scheduled and PPS is closed, please don’t come out! Stay home, snuggle up with loved ones or a book in front of a roaring fire and think happy thoughts.

New Board And By-Laws
Thank you to everyone who came to the general meeting on Veterans Days. We adopted the new bylaws and elected a new board that will begin service in January 2009.
If you are interested in volunteering your time to guide your neighborhood, there are always opportunities to be involved, just contact any board member for more information.
CNA Meeting Tonight! 11/11
At the Concordia Neighborhood General Meeting TONIGHT! Tuesday, November 11 at 7 pm in the Community Room of the Kennedy School (5736 NE 33rd Avenue, Portland, OR 97211). The November General Meeting on November 11th will be election night for the Concordia Neighborhood Association. We will be voting on new by-laws for the CNA and electing new neighbors to serve on the CNA Board of Representatives.
Do you live in Concordia? Are you are ready to help shape our neighborhood? Come to the meeting tonight and let us know! This is your big chance!
Green Team Meeting Moved to 11/18
The Green Team meeting for November has to November 18th at Concordia New Seasons at 7 o’clock.
The November Board Meeting is at 6 pm in the Community Room at the Kennedy School on 11/11. This will be followed by the General Meeting at 7 pm in the same room.

Due to the national election, we are moving our November General Meeting to Tuesday, November 11 at 7 pm in the Community Room of the Kennedy School (5736 NE 33rd Avenue, Portland, OR 97211). The Board Meeting will also be on November 11 in the Community Room at 6 pm.
