Concordia Commons
Concordia Commons is a PBOT-organized public street plaza at NE 30th and Killingsworth
BE IN THE KNOW
Check out our upcoming events at the Commons and other events hosted by CNA.
HOST YOUR OWN EVENT
Hosting your own event at Concordia Commons is easy — and often is free! Events with no vending are free to host. If items will be sold at your event, a small fee applies unless the event is hosted by a nonprofit organization. All events must be free to attend and open to the public.
Visit PBOT’s Small Plaza Activation page for more information and the application form. All applications must be received at least 7 days before your event. Please allow up to five business days for PBOT to review and respond to your application.
WE CAN HELP PROMOTE YOUR EVENT
If you are planning an event or activity at Concordia Commons, CNA’s Friends of the Commons committee may be able to help spread the word through the Concordia Community Events Calendar on page 12 of Concordia News and CNA’s social media channels.
To be considered for the calendar, please submit event details to Dina Sage at mediateamlead@ConcordiaPDX.org by the 10th of the month before your event. Please also copy CNA board representative Lucy Morrow at SW2@ConcordiaPDX.org.
BRING YOUR IDEAS TO THE COMMONS
Friends of the Commons, a committee of the Concordia Neighborhood Association, is working to bring more art, activity, and connection to Concordia Commons. Have an idea for an event or activity? Interested in helping plan or host something? We’d love to hear from you.
We’re hoping to see more music, poetry readings, storytelling, games, cultural events, dancing, art fairs, and other neighborhood gatherings at the Commons — and we need neighbors to help make it happen.
Our committee meets monthly on the first Monday from 6:30 – 8:00 pm on Zoom. Contact Lucy Morrow at SW2@ConcordiaPDX.org for the Zoom link.
