Weigh-in Early on future City’s Comprehensive Plan Saturday March 9th, 10 – 1 pm Beaumont Middle School

Posted on March 6, 2013 by Web Manager Posted in Archive

Do you want to help direct the course of the City and of the future of our neighborhood? Citizens are meeting now to decide what direction we should go in the next 20 years (periodic updates of the plan are mandated by the State of Oregon) Northeast Portland will get its first chance to weigh-in.  Meeting details:

When: Saturday, March 9th, 10 am – 1pm

Where: Beaumont Middle School (42nd and Fremont) .

This will not be just a discussion of general “feel good” ideas but actually getting down to brass tacks – the policies that govern what we can do and not do with our streets, parking, home construction, etc, etc. This will be a chance for you to talk with planners to learn more and to determine what issues you would like to affect. We have 10,000 folks in Concordia – now is the chance for 10,000 voices to be heard. Stay tune for future updates.

Meeting to Plan the CNA Spring Clean-Up

Posted on February 27, 2013 by Web Manager Posted in Archive

Spring is right around the corner and that means spring cleaning may be taking place in your home, basement or garage.  Volunteers from Concordia  coordinate the annual   “Spring Clean-up” event where residents can drop-off unwanted items for  reuse and recycling.   Last year we held an auction allowing neighbors to take, swap or buy items immediately.

We are looking for volunteers to make this year’s cleanup a success.  Our first meeting is:
March 6th at 7pm
Please Contact Katie Ugolini at 503-449-9690 for location.
