Concordia Commons
Concordia has a new plaza called Concordia Commons!
GET IN THE KNOW
Check out our upcoming events at the Commons.
HOST YOUR OWN EVENT
Arranging your own event in the Commons is free and easy. Here’s the link to PBOT’s Small Plaza Activation page with more info and the form to apply. Please allow five business days for the PBOT team to review and respond to your application. Events must be free and open to the public.
Friends of the Commons can provide free publicity for your events through our Concordia Community Events Calendar on page 12 of Concordia News and through our other social media channels. All calendar items must be submitted to Dina Sage at CNewsEditor@ConcordiaPDX.org by the 10th of the month preceding the event.
HELP US PLAN EVENTS
The Friends of the Commons, part of Concordia Neighborhood Association (CNA), is planning events to draw our neighbors together and create more art, life, and community. If you have an idea for using the Commons to get to know our neighbors, we would love to hear about it! If you would like to join in the planning and hosting, we need your help. We’re hoping to see music, poetry readings, storytelling, games, cultural events, dancing, art fairs, and more!
Our committee meets once per month, currently on the second
Wednesday of the month from 12:30 – 1:30 pm hybrid, both in
person in the Commons and on Zoom. Contact Megan Gobble at
SW2@ConcordiaPDX.org. to confirm meeting location or for Zoom
link.
