Concordia Neighborhood Association General Meeting will include board business, a refresher on ranked choice voting presented by the League of Women Voters and Mayor Keith Wilson remarks and Q&A.

A Conversation with The Oregonian
Tuesday, Oct 20th | 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Free conversation with The Oregonian about the First Amendment, midterms, NE Portland, and the future of local journalism. Featuring Laura Gunderson, Editor and VP of Content at The Oregonian; Helen Jung, Opinion Editor; Shane Dixon Kavanaugh, Portland City Hall reporter; and Lillian Mongeau Hughes, homelessness reporter. Andrew DeVigal, Director of the UO Agora Journalism Center, will serve as facilitator, with Concordia resident Keith Daellenbach as moderator.

Halloween Treat Map

We’re creating a Halloween Treat Map to help neighbors find homes handing out treats on October 31. If you’re handing out treats, sign up here. The map with participating homes will be available at concordiapdx.org/halloween closer to Halloween.
Halloween Neighborhood Hunt: See what spooky decorations you can spot while walking the neighborhood! Download the Halloween hunt and print it or save a screenshot to your phone. Use your phone’s markup tools to highlight or cross off what you find.

CNA Annual Meeting (and elections)
Tuesday, Nov 11th | 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm
The Concordia Neighborhood Association Annual Meeting will include elections for six board seats and chair, regular board business, and a guest speaker from the University of Oregon discussing the Ballmer Institute for Children’s Behavioral Health and neighborhood construction. Consider running for the board, or attend to cast your vote. Voting is open to all Concordia neighbors, and everyone is encouraged to participate. Refreshments will be provided.

Enjoy coffee and conversation with neighbors. In inclement weather, look for a sign at the Commons directing you to an alternate location.

Fridays | 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm (1:00 pm – 4:00 pm starting November 6)
