Posted on October 16, 2012 by Gordon Riggs Posted in Archive, CNA, Events

Please Join Concordia Neighborhood Association & Concordia University in Kicking-Off the Holiday Season with a Night of Family-Friendly Merriment The Concordia Neighborhood Association and Concordia University are partnering this year to kick-off the Holiday Season in grand style with a Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony and Holiday Party held at the George R. White Library & Learning Center (Building #19 on map) on Tuesday, December 4th! The entire community is welcome to this family-friendly event.

The night will begin with Concordia University’s 2nd annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony at 6pm. The Concordia University Brass Ensemble assisted by the Concordia Concert Choir will provide festive holiday music and Christmas carols for our listening pleasure. A special guest appearance will be made by Santa Claus himself! Following the ceremony, the entire community is invited to join us for the CNA Holiday Party to be held inside the George R. White Library & Learning Center Lobby, (Building #19 on map). The holiday party is a fun and festive end-of-the-year event and is a great way to meet and mingle with neighbors, old and new, in a family-friendly atmosphere! In addition to free food and nonalcoholic beverages, neighborhood children will be treated to a visit by Santa Claus!

A special thanks goes out to Concordia University who has generously donated their George R. White Library & Learning Center Lobby for our party. Additionally, Concordia University has agreed to help pay for the food for this year’s party, as has Sodexo, Concordia University’s Dining Service, who will be providing the delicious treats for our holiday event. Please join me in thanking them!

Remember to MARK YOUR CALENDARS for: Tuesday, DECEMBER 4th for this fun and festive end-of-the-year event! Come share the spirit of the holidays with your friends and neighbors at Concordia University’s Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony and CNA’s Holiday Party!

For more information, please call Concordia University at 503-280-8505 and/or Katie Ugolini, Interim CNA Chair, at 503-617-6810. Location of festivities at Concordia University will be in building #19 on  map
