    I am writing as I met a Friends of the Tree sponsor the other day and shared with him that several ppl on our street NE WEbster St between NE 37th and NE 39th (Cevar Chavez) would like to see some more trees in the parking strips. We are having on Sunday August 22nd a Dessert Driveway at 6:30pm (rather than a block party due to limited time for planning). I was wondering if someone from the Concordia Tree Team would be available for a visit with us that night to perhaps stir up some momentum for tree planting.

    Let me know what you think. I realize that it is rather short notice given summer weekends and all. The best way to reach me will be by phone at 503-232-0992 as I am heading out of town and do not know what my e- mail accessibility will be.
