The Fernhill Park Wading Pool

Posted on May 27, 2009 by katieugolini Posted in Archive, Family

Close your eyes and imagine 85 degrees. Imagine loading up the kids, some snacks and heading on down to the wading pool at Fernhill Park. Ahh. . . .summer!

Come enjoy the wading pool, or volunteer for to supervise for 2 hours. What better way to spend two hours on a Tuesday or Thursday- you can meet neighbors, enjoy the sun, and help out the community all at once.

New this year – the pool will be open later. Wading pool hours will be from 2pm to 6pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays, taking advantage of the warm afternoons.

Our goal is to keep the pool open every Tuesday and Thursday in July and August, and we need 12-14 volunteers to do this. Volunteer for a 2 hour time spot, from 2-4pm or from 4-6 pm by contacting Robin Rolfe at 503 281-9499 or e-mailing to rrolfe5 [at] yahoo.com.

See you at the wading pool.
