Hi,
I just moved to the neighborhood and have enrolled my children in Concordia music and plan to enroll them in summer camps. I have heard that you have an incredible Easter Egg Hunt but didn’t see any 2013 information on your website. Will you be hosting one this year? I have 2 three year-olds who I am sure would love to attend.
Thank you,
Meredith
Thanks Meredith and Amy for asking about our annual Spring Egg Hunt. Yes we are hosting it again this year Saturday March 30th at 10 AM SHARP! Please arrive early.
Hello CNA!
I wanted to reach out to your group about the opportunity to host international students that are studying English at ELS Language Centers located out of Concordia Universty.
Each year, ELS contributes to the rich diversity of the neighborhoods surrounding Concordia by welcoming in students from all over the world. Our host families play a vital role in acquainting students to the area and helping them bring memories of Portland back home!
Host families provide breakfast and dinner, a private bedroom, the opportunity for students to speak English, support, and insight into American culture. Families are compensated with a stipend for increased food and utility costs.
We find that active community members tend to be some of the most successful hosts and so I was hoping you could advise me on the best way to reach out to your CNA members about this opportunity.
Feel free to email me at akrant@els.edu or call my office line at 503-493-6281.
Thank you kindly,
Ashley Krant
When is the Concordia neighborhood clean up scheduled this year? Thank you.
Annual CNA Clean-Up is happening Saturday, June 1st from 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the PCC Workforce Training Center on NE 42nd Ave & Killingsworth! Please our homepage for details. We are also looking for volunteers for this fun event.
I’m wanting to talk with someone about your lovely neighborhood. As we look at homes there, I have a question about PDX traffic. Is someone available to chat with?
Just a reminder that the first Cully Community Market day of the season is this Sunday, June 2nd at the PCC Workforce Training Center parking lot. 10am-2pm http://www.cullycomunitymarket.org
Let me know if you would like any additional information. We also have yard signs available for Concordia neighbors. (Come to the market to pick them up, or let us know where to drop them off)
Good luck on your clean-up this Saturday- looks like there will be good weather.
Are the dates for the 2013 Neighborhood Yard Sales decided? And when are they?
Thank you
