Cultural Academic Student Exchange (CASE) is currently seeking host families in the Portland metro area for the 2010 – 2011 school year.
Length of stays are for either a semester or an academic year. Exchange students are 15-18 years old. Families, single parents, retirees and empty nesters all make wonderful hosts. Host families are obligated to only provide meals and lodging, student is responsible for personal expenses and transportation. Local area representatives will assist and counsel you throughout the student’s stay.

We are currently seeking a host family for a 17 year-old Ecuadorean girl. Her father is a lawyer, mother is a secretary. She has an older sister. The family is Catholic and the student is willing to attend church with host family. Interested in art, camping, photography, tennis, soccer and travel. Does well in school (mostly A’s and B’s) and has had 6 years of English classes. She wants to be an exchange student to make international friends and share her culture.
Founded in 1988 CASE is a nonprofit and US Department of State approved organization whose mission is to promote mutual understanding and respect among people of the world. Students and their parents have been interviewed and their references checked to determine whether they have the maturity, English comprehension, academic ability, versatility, and genuine interest to explore a new country.
