On October 16, Kathleen L. Wolf, Research Social Scientist in the College of Forest Resources at the University of Washington, discussed the environmental, social and economic benefits of plants in our cities. She then turned the spotlight on examples of planning and management of sustainable landscaping in the Portland Metro area, work that is nationally recognized for its innovation and extensive public participation.
