We registered over 1,000 voters and raised $7,000+ by selling $3 and $4 buttons and bumper stickers. Inspired by Obama's call to service, I am writing a book, "Simple Solutions For Building a Better World". It is what the title suggests it would be. While researching 'nutrition' for my publication, I came across an amazing resourse, Jonny Bowden's book, "The 150 Healthiest Foods on Earth!" I plan to set up another Obama/Democratic 'table'. I will have usefull info from Bowden's book and other related sources...i.e. green living/composting/recycling/buying local and organic/community supported agriculture etc. If people would make a personal commitment to eat local/ organic, free range, wild caught, we whould see a dramatic cut in our health care needs...now if we could only get them to stop smoking... By choice, I am not part of a group, but I was very active and productive in the Obama campaign. I would appreciate an opportunity to discuss this with you in more detail, by e-mail or phone.
